The Mid Florida Electrical Apprenticeship Program offers a comprehensive educational experience designed to train individuals in the field of electrical work. With hands-on training and expert instruction, students gain valuable skills applicable to various electrical systems and technologies. Our program is structured to provide the knowledge necessary for a successful career, focusing on both theory and practical applications. We are dedicated to preparing the next generation of skilled electricians who are ready to tackle real-world challenges.

Qualifications
Potential apprentices must be 18 years of age or older at the time the application is completed.

To be enrolled in our program, you must be working for a participating contractor before school starts in August.
Experience not necessary
Must be 18 years of age or older

High school transcripts or GED grade report required. Please note they must be certified original transcripts or GED Grade Reports.
​
Valid Florida driver's license or State of Florida issued I.D.
Must be physically able to perform the duties of the trade.
​
Mid Florida Non-Union Electrical Apprenticeship and Training Committee must select first year apprentices before beginning the program.
​
Math, Science, and Algebra is strongly recommended, but not required.
​
We are a State of Florida registered apprenticeship program and we are a EEO/AA compliant program.
